I had that problem that tried most of the advises posted here. Others from the office with 10.5 are able to launch Cisco VPN and connect. It took me quite a while to even get the client working and after that it still didnt connect to the VPN concentrator with the 442 message.. I tried again with an Ethernet connection and it didn't work either.
