The “good” news was that the data was very old, with the last registration date in the database being July 22nd 2013. Runtime error if I go to the Load screen otherwise. I tried a lot of other options but I never figured that file would be a problem.Now I can have the Civ3 LAN as planned.Many thanks! Retried today using DX 10 and crashed first turn.
