I allowed it to delete the file, and I have also deleted the entire ati.ace folder. In my case, after my computer got infected, CLI.EXE consumed 100% of my CPU and I had to remove it from memory to do anything at all. Is made on .NET framework, should be C++ like any good driver aplication and keep launching another cli.exe instances. After that, Control Center woun't work so if you decide to make video settings changes rename it back to Cli.exe and restar the computer. Will cause PC to crash. I'm still worried obviously that I may be infected somewhere even though the virus scanners and spyware scanners are saying i'm clean.

Not that i've had any symptoms recently but i'm just being cautious. If you do not, you can safely stop this process. Vandal I removed all 3 process instances and it did not cause any problems. If your not going to be messing with your 3D settings you don't need this. It isn't dangerous just a pain in the ass.

If you have 3 instead of 2 and want to get rid of one, disable the system tray icon. Most likely you installed the ATI drivers but DON'T have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 yet. They didn't start 'till I installed the ATI software. You do not need this file! User comments in multiple help forums indicate that AMD driver update releases do not always install cleanly and may need re-installation (and sometimes registry cleaning) to work properly. Any corruption caused in the aforementioned registry hive can be a cause of cli.exe application error.
