Deleting them is always a good thing to do.
- If you are working with very large files, you may need to increase the maximum size of the Windows swap file.
- It's not the same of the RAM memory, is only a percentage of the disk available for create temporary files.
- If the file doesn't open, perhaps it was an error when save (ie, if you have a small Virtual memory on Windows, the temp file hasn't enough space for temporary files.
